Contrary to popular belief, hair that has been shaved only appears thicker because it has a blunt edge where it was cut so you get that cactus feeling. But when you use a wax or cream hair remover, the hair is completely removed and takes longer to grow back and usually comes out with a smaller tip.

Think of it this way, shaving is like mowing a lawn, where as waxing and creams are like pulling grass out by the roots.

No it doesn't grow back thicker if you use nair. And it also doesn't grow back thicker if you shave. All shaving does is causes the hair to be cut blunt, which in turn gives it a thicker, courser feel. Waxing is a good option because it will last quite a while, and after repeated waxing, sometimes the hair doesn't grow back at all.

If you have never ever shaved or used any kind of hair removal process than using any of them will made the hair come back thicker. Not thicker as in more hair, but the individual hairs will over time become thicker. But if you want to continue using these products than that shouldn't really matter. Although I have a friend who shaves and her hair is still so light that it's not even noticable... she can go weeks without shaving and no one even notices. If you have dark hair than your leg hair will probably be dark and thicker just naturally, same with light thin hair.

No. it's not possible to make hair grow back thicker or darker. the angle at which the hair is removed creates an illusion of darker hair, and the hair feels more coarse because it is "cut" at a different angle.Waxing pulls the whole hair out of the follicle even the root, whereas Nair only melts off the hair at the surface of the skin, leaving the root inside.when the hair begins to grow back it has an odd angle and then feels thicker and looks darker.

No.Nair and wax can only remove whats on the surface. The root of the hair is still there so it cant grow back thicker. It's a different story if u let it grow and don't cut it then it will be thick and bushy. For hair to have grown back thicker, hair would have to of been added to the root or somthing. not possible!!

Heyy, its diverse for each individual i think of, cuz it relies upon on how hirsute u r. yet in my adventure, waxing makes the hair thinner everytym and over tym its like it replaced right into slightly there. Plus it makes ur epidermis great remarkable and fairly :) some people think of it makes the exterior looser tho, i don't kno approximately tht :/ nair is sturdy too. i don't think of eithr one whould make the hair darker or thicker. yet, i could get a professional opinion in keeping with risk?

no...not at all. That's a myth with both shaving and waxing. Its just that the hair grows back all together, thats what makesthe hair APPEAR thicker. Dont worry ♥

Hair doesn't grow back thicker, it only seems thicker, but it will mess with your skin pigments making your skin darker (try bleaching and hair removal lotion.
