to see results you have to do cardio 4-6 times a week for 30-50min and combine it with light weight training.
you can lose 1-2lbs a week healthily if you dont want to get it back. if you have a lot of weight to lose you might lose more in the beginning.

god the guy that made the first comment is a total a.s.s i bet youre a fat f u c k e r urself...lets see if you can stick to 1500 calories a day, gosh maybe in 3 months about 3-6 pounds...it realy depends on what you do at the gym in an houir...if you do rigorous cardio for an hour that would be good but try to throw in some light weights to tone up for an extra half an hour and i think you will see much better results or even pick up an extra day of going to the gym...good luck hun

How excessive is your exercise? If you're a kind of persons that dont do the "paintings" facet of "exercise", that might support provide an explanation for the quandary. I see those persons on the gymnasium who get on a treadmill or elliptical after which move fairly slowly without a resistance. I belive that if you'll learn a journal, quite simply watch TV, have a talk along with your buddy, and so forth, that you just arent understanding with close to ample depth. Pick up your velocity, upload a few resistance in your exercise. For instance, at the elliptical, if you're doing zero or one million resistance- that barely counts as doing aerobic. Crank up the resistance- it shouldnt be less difficult to experience a motorbike or do the elliptical than it's to run if you happen to do it the proper manner. If you're at the treadmill, installed a few hills and choose up the speed. And incidentally, whomever instructed you that 60 mins is an excessive amount of is incorrect, that's the encouraged quantity, and if you'll do it, you must return to it. Lastly- the one thing more is that you just probably taking in too many energy. Count your energy and avert your self to soemthing like 1700 in line with day. Otherwise, you sound good enough- I like that you're doing each weights and aerobic- its very predominant to maintain doing the weights.

If you eat right, and excercise for about an hr. you should lose about 2-3lbs a week. Any more than that is dangerous to loose per week. Plus, you might lose a lot of weight at first, bu then it'll take longer to lose weight later the next month.

When you go to the gym if your doing strength training as well as cardio your weight number might not change but you inchs and what not will. Muscule weights more than fat so that is why your numbers may not go down at first. Plus you need to watch what you eat too. Get set up with a trainer and he'll tell you what calorie intake you need and break down what grams of fat, protein , carbs and calories you need for each meal

If you diet and use light weights in high reps, cradio, and do crunches you can lose 1-2 pounds a week but don't try to lose more than that, you might also stay the same but have gained muscle and lost fat so don't always go by the scale

It depends on what exercises you're doing and how much you're eating. I wouldn't expect to loose more than 2 lbs. a week. If you're doing weights you might find that you'll gain weight as you gain muscle but as times goes on the additional muscle will burn more calories at rest so you'll loose faster with more muscle.
