ok...
to slow down metabolism you have to be inactive, not exercise and eat less that every 2-3 hours (once or twice a day, big meals)
why would you want to do that???

don't eat junk food or drink too much beer or laze about. that is the unhealthy way to gain weight, if any. you're like me (and everyone else in my family). the only way you will be able to gain weight is the eat well and exercise. that's right, and you'll gain muscle which is heavier than fat. run (or skip rope) and then do some push ups, crunches and lift weights. you can't slow down your metabolism unless you have hyperthyroidism in which case you should see your doctor. i recommend you to go see your doctor to get see if you have that thyroid condition and at the same time get a checkup so you know what state of health you are in so you can exercise to gain weight. people think exercise is to lose weight but it's not. it is to achieve a healthy weight and maintain it. the way exercise works is that you break down the muscle you are using and while you rest, the muscles gets rebuild back stronger. in order to get the best results, you need to eat healthily so your mucles get the proper nutrients, vitamins, etc... i hope that helps

Eat fatty meals or a tremendous meal correct earlier than going to mattress. That method, the metabolism will flip the meals into fats as your metabolism slows down earlier than snoozing at night time. I'm fairly jel purpose I am going through the particularly reverse of yours. ;(

To gain weight you have to eat more calories than you burn. When adding calories, try to stay away from adding too much fat. While you can get fat from eating carbohydrates or protein, your body likes to use carbohydrates as fuel more than fat. To gain muscle, in addition to eating more you have to stimulate your muscles enough through resistance training that while they recover, they'll get bigger and stronger. To get an efficient workout you might want to join a gym if you aren't already a member.

If you don't excersive very much, that's a sure fire way to gain weight, that and eating 3 big meals with tons of snacks in between meals.

Honestly your situation is not admired. Everyone claims they want a metabolism like you, but in reality it sucks. It is actually easier for someone to lose weight than it is for someone with a high metabolism to gain weight. The only think you can do is increase protein to 2 grams per lean body pound, eat all day including high carbs and work-out with heavy weights. This will build actual muscle and your body will not burn off muscle. Believe me it works, but your efforts to obtain it are greater than weight loss followers.
