go ahead and have your tires re-balanced and while they are off have them rotated too other than that you need to check your tie-rod ends, pitman arm,and ball joints all of these when wore out are contributing factors to the (death wobble)

The death rattle on my 99 Grand Cherokee seems to be intermittent. Sometimes it does it every time I drive and sometimes it good for months at any speed. However, right now I can t go over 43 mph or I end up loosing control of it until I get it back down to under 35 mph.
I ve replaced the tie rods, tires, front axel, stabilizer bar - three times!, and nothing seems to be the fix . Any suggestions on what else it might need to get this fixed?

Tie Rods, ball joints, missing or broken suspension components, will cause the death rattle and also will cause the jeep to pull right or left when you release your grip on the steering wheel.

many things can cause this. a bad shock can cause bad problems, it happens in one tire in that case.to see if thats the problem take it off road and when you hit a bump , youll hear the shock bottom out and make thud. if thats not it, jack the front end up and try to move the tire front to back, it shouldnt have any play, if it does your ball joints are bad. a steering stabilizer helps alot.
