Yes. He had all 250,000 species of beetles along with every other creature on earth on a boat for half a year. I don't see the problem.

His ship was supposedely slightly smaller than the Titanic. Unfortunately, it was also supposedely made solely out of wood. A wood boat this size would crack and sink in the water within minutes even without cargo, unfortunately, the cargo would have weighted more than the boat.

Another problem with the story is that there is nowhere near enough water in our atmosphere to flood the earth. You could melt all the ice on earth, take all the water from the crust, and still not be anywhere close. It would take roughly 4 times the water now on earth.

The main problem though is not the amount of water. Let's say that God magically made the water appear. With that much water in the atmosphere, all land mammals would drown just by breating in the air.

Actually, the bible does give directions on the size of the ark. And the fact that we were taught 2 of every animal is misleading. The original text was 2 of every "clean" animals. and a certain # of dirty, and so many ducks. But not 2 of every animal. Other then that it is still just a fable. A knock off of the story of Gilgamesh. No don't feel sorry for them. They are pretty happy in their beliefs. As long as they do not tell me what to believe. I don't care what they believe.

We are proud and foolish to think we have all of the answers. A more difficult question is how did something come from nothing and then how did life come from that? That is much more difficult than saving every creature from drowning.

Our finite minds cannot even begin to conceive the Nature, Power and awesome Glory of God. Were you here when He created the cosmos??? Our heads would explode if we tried to comprehend something from nothing, life from lifelessness. Those are the most spectacular miracles.

With man this is IMPOSSIBLE, but with God all things are POSSIBLE. Claiming to be be wise, we became fools.

I heard it was really hard work on Noah's ark. It took like 10 hours every day just to shovel all that sh/t over the side.

But many centuries later Columbus came along and discovered it.

If you go onto answersingenesis.com you will find many of the answers you are looking for! As far as those who try to defend Noah's ark and feeling sorry for them? I'm not quite sure what you mean by that, but if you are implying that it is all a made-up story, well that is the wonderful joy of being a Christian! We as Christians live our lives according to the Bible, and we know without one single ounce of doubt that when the end comes, and it WILL come soon, we will join our family and friends in Heaven, while non-believers will stay here on Earth and be subjected to unbelievable horrors (Revelations). Have a blessed day!

LOL I think you've just blitzed the entire book!

And the people who defend it....

I'm so glad I wasn't born that dumb/naive to humiliate myself like that.

Imagine the smell of piss coming off all those animals

The bible is full of fable and allegory. These are attempts to show moral rights and wrongs as the authors observed them. Much of it is folk lore that began with a shred of truth. However, as centuries past, and people continued to re translate the bible, tall tales have emerged. Society is full of retards that actually take the bible at face value. They are dumb and pathetic.

I feel sorry for those who cannot read Hebrew, have never studied the actual flood that hit southern Mesopotamia 4500 years ago, and can't imagne ancient man being smart enough to build (of all things) a boat.

People have always believed in myths and fairy tales, and always will regardless of logic and common sense.
