Hi it sounds like you could be depressed and your anxiety about social situations is linked to that.I would see your GP.

This could be just a lack of self worth. Does or has someone in your family constantly belitteled you in the past or even now? This condition can be helped. Find a local stress therapist, or a really good friend and talk about your feelings. I am a qualified stress therapist and know this condition. I t is best tackled face to face with a therapist. Ask your doctor for help. All the best

hey sounds like you could be suffering from a type of depression or anxiety disorder speak to your doctor about support groups and meds that may suit you (this is not for everyone!) i would also suggest that you try to eleviate the stresses in your life by avoiding overly stressful situations in the meantime (often easier said than done!) talking to others is very useful share your burdens even for a little while. i once heard someone describe depression as unheard anger! express yourself you will feel better people will understand ! good luck! ;)

Try these links to the Mind website:

Understanding Depression
http://www.mind.org.uk/Information/Booklets/Understanding/Understanding+depression.htm

Understanding Anxiety
http://www.mind.org.uk/Information/Booklets/Understanding/Understanding+anxiety.htm

they are easy to read and understand and should help you to realise what is happening to you.

I then would suggest you need to go and talk to your GP and discuss these things, they can assess what they think is the best thing to do to help and support you. It may be medication or they could refer you for other types of treatment.

Understanding Talking Treatments
http://www.mind.org.uk/Information/Booklets/Understanding/Understanding+talking+treatments.htm

I would also suggest finding your local mental health charity
http://www.mind.org.uk/Mind+in+your+area/
they are easy to access and will be able to offer you help and support. It only takes a phone call and they don't have long waiting lists and you should be able to talk to someone almost straightaway.

Please take a look around the Mind website, as there is lots of good information and advice on a whole range of things relating to mental health.

There is good help and support available to you if you know where to look.

Hope this helps.

Take care and good luck.

I think you need to mention these things to a doctor and let him help you. Tell him/her exactly how you told it here, maybe even print it out or copy it if you think you can't remember it in the office. I don't think there is anything any of us can do online. I hope that you get to feeling better soon.

When we feel bad, the best thing we can do, is try to care for someone else...and get our minds off of us for a change..not that you do that, you sound like you are having mood swings a little, and you should express this to your best friend, your hubby..if he won't listen,...then I would advise that you pray for your answers, because God and Jesus love you

Sound to me like you are afraid to be 'you' in case people don't like you. When you go out you think people are criticising you so you are uncomfortable. just believe you are worth knowing and have you own personalty. Trust in that. If they need to talk about you that is because they have no conversation of their own. Good luck.
