It's not that women don't follow logic. Studies have shown that women are better at some forms of logical thinking than men. It's just that women have different values when they are processing their logic. For example, a woman might be willing to buy a pair of shoes for $400 but won't be willing to accept that $50 for a round of golf is reasonable. That's because in her mind the shoes are a very precious thing, and the golf is not. They have a completely different value system from us which is why everything seems so illogical.

Why are you categorizing all women into that question you are asking? I know for a fact that when I am in an argument with a man, I am definitely using logic. And at the time, I am steaming, I could swear that the man I'm arguing with definitely isn't using logic. Are you just angered right now with one specific woman and, therefore, categorizing and associating all women with your response from this one poor woman. Maybe you should cool off and think about her arguments in this dispute and maybe you'll see that she was using some logic...... it was just something you didn't like hearing. Logic IS important to most women.

Well actually I think this is just the difference between men and Women. Women tend to work from emotion, that is just how we are hard wired. Sometimes we just have to take the emotion and drama out of it. That being said.

It is not that we aren't logical- men are just simple. Women are more complicated. Men- well most of them would do fine with one pair of shoes, a couple pairs of jeans and a couple of shirts, maybe a suit to dress up.

But a woman needs a different outfit for each day of the week and each event of the day. An outfit consists of a top, skirt/pants, matching shoes, matching jewlery and what ever other accessories fit the outfit. everything has to coordinate perfectly.

You see I don't know why it is that way. That is just how it is. That is how God made us.

Because women are not logical beings. Women lack accountability and logic in any argument, in fact they lack those for life in general. It's just not hard wired into them, nature played a cruel joke on man when he made women.

Because logic is linear, and exclusionary. Women tend to be more holistic in their thinking. They see the big picture and relationships between the items within it.

Both ways of thinking have their value. Your arguements come when each embraces only their way. If you want to shorten the fireworks, both of you acknowlege the value and posssibilities of the other thinking and try to meld them together.

It's conditioning with a side order of biology. It's not true of all females though. I communicate with logic and I'm female. Getting emotionally out of control is silly to me.
