How much you wanna spend? You can get gold plated, engraved, fancy stuff or maybe even solid gold( although wouldn't be 24 Kt.) firearms. These are just the current special made guns. You can also get some firearms in museum quality that are historical for alot of money also.

I'd say it wouldn't be hard at all to spend one million on a certain firearm and probably much more. Try pricing an original 1848 Walker Colt. I think there were only about 400 made and I believe there are only about 20 known specimens out there. They are not in immaculate condition either. If you get the original ( pair I believe) that Walker had made for him by Colt during the Mexican war era, then you would have a rarity indeed.

Good luck. I am sure you can find something suitable for under 3 million but I am betting there are some pretty close to that.

In the Auction Market there some really sky high collector Museum stuff. The test .45ACP lugers, The Hitler PPK, Jack Ruby's gun, The last Colt Python ( not for sale), etc. These are 6 figure plus type guns.......

General sale?
Well a Barrett model 82 Sniper rifle goes for About $5000+ for example.

generally apart from collector's and unique pieces double barrelled SXS rifles as used for big game and elephant hunting are generally the most expensive firearm type. The cheapest being $5000+ and over $50,000 for some standard models, and hundreds of thousands for special options.

A similar power bolt action you can buy anywhere might run between a few hundred to $5000 for hunting use.
The most expensive custom makers of any firearm type might charge from $5000 to whatever they feel like.

Generally handguns are usually only a few hundred dollars to a few grand.
Machine guns run from a few hundred dollars up to a few thousand as well.
Heavy guns and semi auto guns like 50 cals might run up to $10,000. Sniper and tactical rifles from half to double that price.
Any of the above for sports or special target purposes the price goes right up as well.

Shotguns start a few hundred up to a few grand for a good pump or semi auto.

Double barrels shotguns start similar but attract bigger prices for sporting or custom pieces.
Also those made by the same famous names who make double rifles for the royal families to play with will be in the hundreds of thousands and up.

The Korth comes to mind. It is a high dollar handgun built to very exacting tolerances. The 1911 'race' guns are pretty high dollar too, as is the Colt Python (when you can find one). The 5.7 FN is also high dollar as are the H & K and the Sigs.

Such a general question. Of all the firearms that are in the market I would have to say Colt Pinch Frame SAA. it runs about $200,000.00 in excellent shape.

There are so many that no matter what you come up with, someone will come up with one that runs more. Lugers can range in that area aswell.

Good Luck with your quest !
