Please let me clarify myself: In no way, shape or form do I mean ministers who have sexually molested children, but make no mistake they are just as wrong in my book, but actual Homosexual Adults who are "ordained" I read something about "ordained" homosexual methodist pastors...

yes! that's exactly what they do, not only that but they twist it and turn it so it means what they want it to instead of what it actually says! UGH!

The thing I find even more amazing is that any homosexual would want to take part in an organization who does have such an obvious negative stance on their sexuality. Also, there have been homosexual priest since the church was founded. They just weren't public about it, now they are because supposedly the world has matured, however we know better than that because people are still all flustered over homosexuals.

The Bible is a record of the prejudices and superstitions of our bronze age ancestors. It has very little to do with objective reality and almost nothing to do with life in our current civilization. Many real live human beings are homosexuals and, if Christianity is to remain relevent, it must address the realities of human civilization. The alternative is for Christianity to become another meaningless mythology.

like they skip around the issue of divorce, obesity, bankruptcy, adultery, etc...

do some study look at the original texts and writing about homosexuals..you find it is not so cut and dry.

The Bible says far more about divorce than it does about homosexuality so why aren't churches preaching fire and brimstone about that/

Many religious scholars...Episcopals, Methodists, Church of Christ, and Metropolitan Community Churches to name a few are all taking a closer look at homosexuality and coming to quite different conclusions than traditional ones.

Remember the same Bible you use to condemn homosexuals, is the same one your ancestors use to justify slavery, anti-interracial dating, and to keep women in their place...those things are now seen as archaic..and while there are Bible verses that are crystal clear on slavery...we no longer find that to be true for today's world.

It's funny that you say the Bible is crystal clear about homosexuality, mainly because there were no words in Hebrew or Aramaic that translated to mean anything remotely related to "homosexual."

Sight your sources and I can match then with those that show Jesus had no problem with Gay men.

A Roman centurion who wanted Jesus to save his boy, slave, young lover, the Greek word used means all three. Jesus praised this man for his faith. Jesus said, "Some eunuchs are born so from their mothers womb some were made so by others and some eunuchs forsake marriage for the sake of the kingdom of heaven." In the first century "eunuch" did not mean just castrated men. Here Jesus is speaking of three kinds of eunuchs, those born so from their mothers womb. known as "natural eunuchs." Those with malformed generals and those born homosexual. Made so by men, castrated men and those who forsake marriage for the kingdom of heaven, celebrates.

A bit of research is a wonderful thing in learning the truth that we truly are all brothers in Jesus.

Oh yes, In the old testament there 44 references to eunuchs and some make it clear they are references to gay men

A "christian" skipping around a verse or two in the bible?

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you.

Will you let me know the next time you plan on put kids to death for cursing their parents (Leviticus 20:9).

Same goes for adutlerers and adulteresses (Leviticus 20:10)

Once you've got up on the backlog for those two verses, then you can move on to Leviticus 20:13.

Okay, in your religion you have interpreted homosexuality as a sin. So let's say for your sake that it is. Are you suggesting that only people who don't sin should be ministers?

First of all **** the bible. It's stupid, juvenile and antiquated.

Oh and did I mention a scam.

Second of all, what do you care if some guy bangs some other guy.

Oh and also in that same list that says god hates homos it says that that men must wear their hair to their shoulders in reflection of jesus. I don't see you religious morons doing that. Cherry pick what you want out of that stupid book. From what I hear JESUS LIKED ANAL WITH MEN. LOL : )

Homosexual Ministers?

I am sorry but I think people need to start sighting their source's. I would imagine that a lot of members of the gay / lesbian community would find it some what insulting that you compare case's of child molestation to being homosexual.

Yeah - and what's the deal with some Christian ministries frowning on slavery!

I've been to a few churches where they actually associate with menstruating women! And don't even get me started on how many of them eat shellfish. The other day I sat next to an obvious harlot who was wearing two different kinds of fabric! Her head was NOT covered, and when she actually dared to speak, I left in disgust.

These people clearly don't know how to live by God's Word. Now excuse me - I'm off to sacrifice oxen to IHVH.
