If we saw somebody harm our child we would put down our life to save him/her. So why does God allow it to happen, I wonder.

That is a good question, thing is the devil is running the show at the moment, somewhere in the bible it says that the devil told god he [the devil] could do a better job than god, so god said OK you have a short time to get as many people on your side as you can, if after that period of time the earth is really sinful and there is no nice people left then its all yours but if there is just a few nice people then you and your gang get thrown into the fiery furnace and I will take over again then the Lion will lay down with the lamb and mourning will be no more. or something like that anyway. so looks like the horned one is pulling out all the stops 'cos time is running out that's why the world is getting more and more awful. keep being good and hopefully the prophesy will come true, fingers crossed I'm there.

God allows it to happen for several reasons. First and foremost is free-will. Although, I do not care to always fall back on this concept, it IS one of major importance. Without true free-will and allowing a person to judge for themselves what their actions will be, God cannot fully understand and judge our hearts. He judges not only the person who is doing the abuse but also all of those who know about the situation and do norhing.

Second, God is concerned with more than just our physical bodies. God is infinitely more concerned with our souls. We often judge God's actions by what we SEE and how we FEEL. The problem with this is that we do not see or know everything about what is going on with God.

Finally, as Jesus our Savior has said, no greater love can a person show than to lay their lives down for that of another. Therefore, if you lay your life on the line for the smallest of people, you show God how much love you have.

He has to. He has no choice. He created human beings with free will, and with that incredible gift comes full responsibility for all decisions of free will. Free will would be meaningless if God said "I give you the right to freely choose good or evil, but whenever you choose evil I'll jump in and make sure nobody gets hurt". If God overrode the free will decisions of humans, or prevented the negative effects of such decisions, then humans would simply be another animal species that happened to be smarter than the rest. They would not be created in God's image and likeness, and would have no claim to eternal life.

Because his love is greater than ours. It takes the love that only an all loving god could know and understand to be able to allow the suffering of innocent children.

If you are putting down your life for your child were are the parents of the child that is being hurt? Shouldn't they be putting down their life for that child. If that happened no children would get hurt. See my point there Einstein.

the full factor with Adam and Eve is authentic. additionally, we've loose will. it extremely is a try. i think of the question we could consistently be asking ourselves is why will we enable terrible issues to happen in this Earth? in case you comprehend something undesirable is happening then concentration on it. devil might tempt us, like he tempted Jesus while he replaced into right here in the international, besides the undeniable fact that all of it comes all the way down to what we pick to do. besides the undeniable fact that, in case you have self assurance in God and persist with Jesus then you definitely would be offered with what you're able to assist. God is then working via you.

Lol... what are you talking about... every Christian I meet preaches to me about how merciful he is. Obviously they left this out. The truth is that we let it happen. Many would put their lives down for their own child, but how many people who put their lives down for a random strangers child, or a child that we all believe a bad apple?
