how about sliced turkey or a hard boiled egg or some shredded wheats without the milk. Usually anything with either fiber or protein will be more filling than a sweet snack.

Hello :-) ! I really like a few answers on here. I have had the same problem all my life, until I started training with great personal trainers. I am eating healthily now, am more aware of what I am eating now. Am really savouring everything now. What really can help is a food diary, where you will note how you are feeling before and after you have been eating. Have noticed with chcolate (and I used to be a real sugar addict) that it often makes me feel worse than before. As I know I would fall into chocolate again if I started, I am not buying any anymore because I have discovered really healthy, non-sigary tasting foods such as fruits. Also knowing now that junk food will not make me feel better, Instad, I eat fruit. I used to be really big and I can really say that my personal trainers saved my life as I am living now and taking responsibilities for my life. Don't know whether you are overweight or not, but yes, exercise can help. If you would like some help with your training, this site offers online training as well: www.getfit.lu. Plenty of really helpful information on there too :-) . Good luck and Take care!

FROZEN FRUIT... let it naturally alittle atleast. but frozen fruit is good bc u can eat the entire bag and not feel guilty. for example stop and shop brand frozen peaches=180 caloires in the entire bag. Dole tropical mixes are very tasty. they tend to have more calories per serving-not much, but it adds up if ur planning on having the whole bag.

frozen fruit also stops sugar/junk food cravings.. it helps me stay on track

Take to tomatoes. Remove the upper part of them. With a spoon, take out all the seeds from inside. Put some tuna inside and enjoy! If shrimp is available, that would be perfect. It is delicious, easy to do and very healthy

Eat apples or celery. They have negative calories.. Your body burns more calories eating one than the apple or celery contain all together. If your still hungry eat another one... An apple a day keeps the Dr away... Its true!

Try a high protein shake mixed with juice (like a smoothie). The protein will keep your blood sugar level.
