Biblically there is no such thing. God says to set our affections on things above, not things on the earth so people that are so INTO animals, loving them more than people even...are being distracted from God.
God spoke animals into existence...He didnt give them a soul. Also, if you read in the BIble...there were demons that inhabited a man who Jesus was about to cast out and they asked to go into a herd of pigs. Jesus allowed it and they drove the animals mad and they went over a cliff. There is no endearment biblically for animals. They were created for man to have dominion over, not idolize or hold in equal esteem as children.
