I hope you make it there, remember when you have been there for a few weeks make sure to call yourself Japanese.
This is what Indian people do who arrive in the UK they call themselves British , you could even say you are "Japanese and proud of it", ignore the laughter.

Japanese toleate foreigner when they have money... But they hate us because we are unpredictable socially speaking, and Japanese are almost like robots. I always dream to went there myself, but I did only make a stop for a few hours, and get nausea... If you believe we are artificial, then wait to meet a japanese that works!!

Its easy, buy an airline ticket, fly to Japan. Look for a place to live and a job to work.

You will find the Japanese are VERY prejudice against anyone who is not Japanese.
