goto KBB.COM to get an idea of what the van is worth. It will atleast give you a starting point on the price you ask for.

Your best bet would be to go to kelly blue book to check the value of the minivan first so you know what you could get for it in a sale. You need to know the mileage, options and condition of the vehicle, this is pretty important to getting an accurate price.

Next, as far as a car for you, a jeep is a lot of fun but I think the insurance would be extremely expensive. You may want to try something with actual windows and a roof at least until you're a little older.

Good luck!

Check out KBB.com for used vehicle pricing and maybe check the local paper for what price other vans like yours are going for...make sure they are similiar in options, mileage and condition for a close price. Jeep would be a cool chick car but they have a tendency to roll severely under hard turning or emergency situations...may not be best for a starter driver. Maybe look for something in your budget that gets good gas mileage, is reliable and fun to drive--looks good. Have a mechanic inspect it thoroughly for any problems b4 u buy it. Consumer Reports magazine has an annual car buying guide on which cars are best for a certain price range and year....local library should have this.

The Best way to get an idea on the value of your van is to look at what they are selling for on the internet......check Ebays closed auctions and find out what somebody actually bought one for with similar miles and condition to the one you are selling. Then I would add a few hundred to that number and stick a for sale sign on it and park it at the local supermarket or mall with the sign prominently displayed. Then You can look on ebay for similar money and see how far your money will take you. Good luck!

Ford Windstars do not have good resale value so if you can get %k for it that is great.
A Subaru Forester would probably be a good car for you. It is a small SUV with great safety ratings and very reliable.

www.nada.com, will tell you how much the van is worth
as for what kind of car you want? well your not gonna get much for the van, so you will probably get a 5 year old car, maybe a ford focus
