If you are asking if your back taxes are dischargable in bankruptcy, the answer is no. Uncle Sam won't let you off the hook no matter the circumstances. However, they may work out a negotiation with you to reduce the amount due or waive penalties and interest. This would be done directly with the taxing authority rather than through a bankruptcy court.

The tax laws changed October 17, 2005 regarding back taxes added to bankruptcy.

The answer is no, bankruptcy can no longer relieve back tax debt.

im not an attorney but yes you can i work for bankruptcy it would be 13.
