smoking is really bad for your lungs and heart, and if anything happens to you thats really bad for your sweetheart. why would you hurt the people you love by hurting yourself that way?

I don't believe a smoker can give it up for anybody else, as much as they might want to. I think it requires giving up the habit for yourself, because you have come to realize how much harm you are doing yourself.

I have been with my special someone for 7+ years, she doesnt care that i smoke. But, I have learned that the only way to quit is for yourself other than for someone else.

if i waz a smoker yes i would give it up for some one special lets say my boyfriend said me ur smoking and i really loved him smoking would be gone a good reason y my mom stoped smoking waz because she waz having me that means am special lol

ABSOLUTELY!!They're only requesting u stop for ur own good. It's worht giving up an ugly, dirty habit. And yes I"m a smoker.

yes and have been doing good. have already cut back a lot and now only smoke maybe once a week and that could be any were form half a cig to 3 that day.

Nope, its a decision I have to make all by myself.
If you are forcing someone to quit smoking indirectly he/she find it as an encouragement.
