Are there any vitamins or products that help your hair grow back faster?

Question

I had longish hair for a guy, and even though I told my barber a trim, he took about an inch+ off of my hair. It would be nice to fix this ASAP, because it just isn't the type of hair I like. Any help would be appreciated :).

sorry, taking vitamins will not make your hair grow back faster. with daily use over a period of time it will make your hair healthier but not longer. the only way i have EVER heard to make your hair gro fast is to be pregnant because of the abundance of hormones produced by the body but obviously that is not something you'll be doing. (the reason people may say prenatal vitamins is because pregnant women's hair grows so fast but it has nothing to do with the vitamins being taken)
to grow back an inch of hair should only take a couple of months so just be patient and try to find a fun hairstyle to do until then.



really, not that big of a deal, last month my husband talked me into cutting my hair.... 12 inches!!!! so now i am waiting for it to grow back out which should take about two years.

O.k., check it out. I did chemo therapy and lost all of my hair. I had hair down to my butt before I got sick. After I finished therapy, I started to use Nioxin conditioner and shampoo. You can find it in beauty supply stores. It helps you hair grow faster.

Now, my second trick (and I saw somebody else mention this already to you), is that I take FlintStones vitamins believe it or not.

My hair is growing like a weed. Normally your hair grows a 1/2 an inch a month. Mine is growing an inch a month. Even my stylist is amazed.

I'm telling you, Nioxin and Flintstones is the answer. Even the ladies on my cancer website all swear by Nioxin. It works!

Nothing especially made for increasing hair growth actually has ever been proven to work however a good multi vitamin along with good nutrition will keep hair looking its best. Do get a slight trim to prevent breakage. THat is about all you can do.DOn't fall for those gimmics in the magazines that promise hair down to your butt. YOu will just be left with less money!

heh Mate , in Australia there are 2 very good products. one is called Regaine and the other is Hair again. you need a product that contains Minoxidil.( the one with 5%is best) I have some freinds using Regaine and it does work. only problem , you have to continue the use or the hair stops growing again.

instead of buying a vitamin especially for hair try just taking the flinstones complete multi vitamin, it may take a while to kick in but it has helped me grow my hair long. if you still want a vitamin just for hair go to GNC and buy the skin hair and nails vitamins. good luck!

Well believe it or not "BIRTH CONTROL PILLS" is ur answer, if you have some one that could give you like three or four pills put them in your shampoo, and believe me it works it also makes ur hair healthier looking, my mother used it on my sisters and me and I use it on my kids too I seriously recommend it we all have long hair and a lot of people always ask what kind of shampoo we use but its not in the shampoo its all in the pills.Ohhh and it does not matter what brand of birth control pillls you use. Try it you ll thank me.
