You can but it is better not to until it is okayed by your doctor. If they are there because of a surgery//the dr will let you know when you can start taking showers. It is always a good idea to let them come off on their own instead of pulling them off. Less chance of scarring.

Sure you can, but no you shouldn't. ....... your wound needs to heal some and when the stitches come off then you can get wet. The problem with getting them wet is the rate that bacteria grows in water.... which could increase risk of infection.

If properly applied with a benzoin tincture. They will stay on if wet. But only get wet in running water, not on standing water like dish water or tub bath...bacteria can breed on standing water.
