* Get enough sleep (about 8 hours) it will make you feel more refreshed and you will look more refreshed. Sleep will also make your head more clear and you will not be in a daze throughout the day. Your body also needs sleep to help repair the damage that you do to it everyday.
* Eating is just as important as sleep and I do not mean eating constantly. Try to eat about the same time everyday and do not skip a meal because skipping meals can cause a decline in your physical health. Try eating or drinking things that have antioxidants so you get nutrients to help you feel better.
* Try setting aside sometime just for you during the day and do not thinking about what is stressing you out. It can be things like reading a book, listening to some music (classical is known to be calming), or taking a long bath. When you take some quality time on yourself it will help relax you.
* Also, try getting some time to exercise because when you exercise your body releases endorphins, which will make you happier and in a better mood. Things like yoga, which you could do at home with a video, can be helpful with the breathing techniques, meditation, and focus on relaxation.
*It might be hard, but try to think positively about events and do not dwell on things that you cannot change. If the bus comes late, do not freak out because you cannot and could not change it. Positive thinking can help lower your stress as well, but that does not mean be positive about everything because bad things do happen and you have to realize your mistakes (which you should also learn from and move on).
* Take your child on a fun vacation to somewhere like the beach or miniture golfing (putt-putt) where you can share having fun together. Laughter, as stupid as it may sound, can help you a lot and I believe it releases endorphins as well.

I can fully relate. Good to see I'm definitely not alone with this one. :D Try this; always worried and stressed at 17. I have recently developed a fear of anorexia from losing my appetite for only a day this past summer, which of course would never have anything to do with me because I frown upon it, I love to eat and would never EVER do that to myself among other things, but shure, the fear still likes to taunt me every now and then with the other fears I've also had trouble leaving behind. I've recently went to a therapist to try to get help (I know, you don't want therapy) but she told me to keep telling my self when these fears try to eat at me "I'm just anxious." and just keep repeating this until I calm down. You could also try changing the subject of your mind to a new, relaxed one in order to temporarily erase the stressful unrealistic one. I also found out biofeedback and self-hypnosis do wonders as well.

The water jet found in spas can also help healing by increasing oxygen supply to the affected area. This results when the heat and pressure from the jets increase the level of antibodies and white blood cells sent to the area, leading to destruction of harmful cells and helping the formation of new tissue. There are various spas with water jets but choose the one with less piping as it causes less friction being applied to water flowing through the pipe. The massaging water jets hence work with great force in all the seats of spas.

There are many ways you can try and relieve stress. You can try breathing exercises and/ or meditation. You can buy Cd's and DVDs that show you how. You could also try Pilate's or Yoga which help to relieve stress and anxiety.
If these approaches don't work see your GP, your doctor can offer counselling, or if it is serious prescribe medication for example Diazepam. Diazepam will calm you down but should only be used temporarily.

Have yourself a cup of camomile tea, relax and just realise how lucky you are to have a child to watch grow, enjoy every minute of being with him. Talk, whisper laugh joke tell stories that you create and just know that you're together. Love gets you through.... so be happy.. together . The first few years of a child's life are so important . Enjoy! As soon as you focus on yourselves you will become organised and strengthen... and the worries will ease.
Be thrilled with who you are!.... (: (:

I used to be in your boat. Then, I figured out if I wanted to be happy, I had to give it to myself. I started having fun..little things at first. Then I started to meditate and burn scented candles to relax. After that, it comes naturally. You are stressing over life...that's just how it has to be. You are doing the best you can and that's all you can do.
