If you wouldn't without being married, why?

I'm not saying that I'm considering doing that. I would just like to know how you feel about it.

People who live together prior to getting married have a higher divorce rate that those that don't.

That being said, do whatever you want. Guys love girls that move in right away....why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free.

living together is an interesting arrangement. roommate with benefits.

There is no set timeline, everyone is different. Wait a year. Wait 3 months, etc...

Before you move in, you want to find out how well you get along as a couple. You will be living as a couple, you need to be able to resolve differences, and celebrate victories as a couple.

Years ago I found this surefire way to determine (quickly) if a relationship will 'make it'.

Go on a road trip. cross country, at least two weeks long.

You will discover everything about the other person, and if you are not going to make it as a couple, it will surface in two weeks of close forced contact.

You have to make plans and decisions together. You are stuck in a car, you HAVE to work together. You HAVE to talk.

at the end of the trip, you WILL know if it will work.

I HIGHLY recommend one of those weeks is the female's period, to add in the extra bit of conflict.

well to be honest with you.......I have had my share of live in boyfriends and it took me a while to move in with one of them but the other one, my current one it just happened he just moved n on his own started out by staying the night then it turned into every night and he brought his clothes for me to wash ( cuz yes I take care of my man) and ended up NEVER taking them home! But it was all good for me I was in love with him from the begganing so I was glad to have him around all the time! But I moved outta my apt after 3 months and moved in with him so I think it really depends on you and that person how well you get along thats all!

I would have to have been with him for at least a year before I even THOUGHT about it. I don't know. Depends on how I really feel about the guy.
