Im loosing hope that loosing weight is even possible!!! I have always had a little bit of a tummy. But then I had a high-risk pregnancy in which I gained an extra 60 pounds. That was a year ago. I have only managed to loose 30 of those pounds and the extra weight will not come off. I have been eating right(small portions and all) excersizing daily, walking and cadrio videos. I can see some muscles forming under my fat, but the fat is still there. I am stuck at 5'5" over 170, and it will NOT go below 170 no matter how hard I try. What can I do, I so desperatly want to be able to look in the mirror and be happy. I want to be able to feel comfortable with my body again. I dont even care, Id be happy loosing 10 pounds but I cant!!!! Does ANYONE have any tips or secrets or anything that can help me. Im so desperate and starting to get hopless! PLEASE PLEASE what can I do???

Not eating is not a legit problem solution. I hope she was just trying to get her points up, and if so I am sorry you had to read that. Do not pay attention to your fat. I have lost nearly 40 lbs and I still see what I saw months ago in the mirror. BUT: they make drinks called emergen-c they are in dry packets and you can find them in large boxes at GNC. First and foremost make your metabolism fo through the roof. It is also way better if you eat 6 small meals a day as opposed to 3 big ones and snacks. If you are not hungry, do not eat...This was hard for me because I LOVE to cook and I LOVE food, chew gum, do something to take your mind off your boredom. You really want to do lots and lots of cardio. KEEP the heart rate up. 10 or even 30 minutes of cardio won't cut it. Also try sprinting for 5 minutes, then walking for 1 or 2.
Don't give up.

I discovered the ebook to be very informative and effortless to learn. I've misplaced 17 kilos in 12 days, I'm simply involved that I'm wasting an excessive amount of weight, too rapidly. I will admit I have not adopted the consultant precisely. I'm now not sticking flawlessly to the indexed meals and meal plans (however most often) and doing little or no pastime, however the weight maintains flying off. It evidently works and if I'd adopted it precisely I consider it could scare the residing daylights out of me due to the fact of the volume that I'd lose. So thank you once more for the know-how. I've in no way bought whatever like this earlier than due to the fact they're generally filled with trash, however 3WD has been a nice shock. Get began at present!

Easy way to entertain your kid and lose weight is to go walking with him all the time. Put him in the stroller and hit the mall or walk around your neighborhood. Just keep in mind in order to loose weight you have to exercise and intake less calories. That doesn't mean you have to starve yourself as we both know that's completly unhealthy. Take a look at your food choices also. You might be very surprised that you are still eating comfort food that was a craving while you were pregnant and not even realizing it. There are a lot of online blogs and discussion boards you can look at to find other women who are in a similar situation also. They might have tricks that worked for them or other advice to help you loose those last 30 lbs. Best of luck!

Seriously the best weight loss I had was doing the 6 Week Body Makeover. I lost 80 lbs and felt great. I ate healthy and exercised. The gist of the diet was eating 6 small meals a day consisting of a lean protein, carbohydrate (fruit, oats, potato) and a veggie. I always tried to keep it simple, remember that food was meant to fuel your body and nothing else. Also, I stuck to whole, natural foods. I strayed from processed foods and sugars. It sounds like a big order but really I just had to change the way I saw food and had to get my metabolism cruising along.
The metaphor that I loved so much was thinking of a furnace. To get that furnace burning you have to fuel it. What burns better? Soggy wet logs that were just cut, or seasoned dry oak? The oak does. So, think of your body as a furnace and you light that fire, and continue to throw seasoned oak logs on there, it is going to burn hot and fast, the more you put on, the hotter and faster it burns. Just like your body, put the right kind of fuel in and the right combination and you will just burn away.
Check out Providas site. They have a great support system and recipe ideas.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You've hit a plateau. It's when your body doesnt burn as many calories and fat because it has adapted to the workout you're used to. And so you're not loosing any weight. :)
The only way to get rid of a plateau is to increase the effort of your workout! Gotta push your body even further and get that sweat flowing harder! Good luck!

Keep in mind that many people are different , you may have a lower metabolism than others. Many trainers recommend weight training with cross circuit training.

Hello...been there done that. It was one of those drastic times calls for drastic measures situations! I feel you...
I had to invest a little more but it was worth it cause "we" are worth it right? I had to change EVERYTHING and differently I went to a nutritionist. Look in your local area listings and when you find one ask others about their results...
Billy Blanks TaeBo Boot Camp!!! AWESOME RESULTS!!!
Great luck to you. ;-)

eat around really skinny people. they dont eat a lot so then you wont feel right overeating around them. also keep yourself busy so you dont think about food. eat a snack here and there with little meals instead of 3 big ones.....eat healthy and work out with a friend so you can encourage each other. i hope this helps a little bit
