Considering satan knows his doom and destiny ( in hell, the lake of fire FOREVER) Do u think if he had a second chance that he would do things differently, so that he could stay in heaven? Just a curious question- I would believe he wouldn't if he were smart, but more than likely he Would do it again. What do u think????

The devil do what? Tell lies? He is the father of lies. He has already been judged by God. He will never be given another chance. Once your judged....that's it. Why do you think he lied in the first place? He was already sentenced. Angels are given the command to obey in exchange for higher knowledge and power. He rebelled against that and fell. They don't have souls. That's why they are jealous in the first place. We did this to ourselves, the devil didn't do anything but try to get as many people to join him in his misery. We are the one's responsible for our condition. If adam would have never handed over his authority to the devil through disobedience we wouldn't be sitting here even discussing the devil. God loves us all. To ere is Human. We have a second chance through Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The devil is history. His torment is eternal. Don't make yours the same.

If I were the devil I'd lament my rebellion and turn around. maybe he just cant repent now, its not that he wouldn't, but that he's not allowed too. that he's beyound forgiveness.
if the devil was created for good by the father, then he wasn't doomed from his beginning. There must have been a chance for the devil to not fall. So are there sins that can be committed you cannot repent from? or are there some who simply will not repent?

The challenge you face here is this, you can not apply the same rules for humans as you have for angelic beings.

It is true that we both have free wills to chose good or evil, but God deals with angels in a different way that us humans.

The angels have seen the majesty of God, they were privy to the plans of God, prior to the begining of time, so unlike us an angel falls and thats it.

Satin has given himself over to a mind set that says "nothing is written in stone" however if you read the bible and see what is happening with regards to end time prophesy's well he can deny all he wants, but God has seen the end, He did not create the end He has just seen it, and reported it to us in a way that should make sence to us, if we accept His Holy Spirit, thru Christ.

Satan had direct access to God as a spiritual being. He was created as a beautiful angel and in his own conceit sinned against God. and was cast out of Heaven along with his angels.
Yes I believe Satan would do it again, he is the father of all lies.

If he had a second chance? Yes, I do think that he would make the same decision. He is selfish and wanted all of the glory given to him instead of Heavenly Father. I don't think that he would settle for less. I think that he feels that here on earth he is very powerful and wouldn't give that up.

I don't know. I don't know the devil. He was once good though. But, he didn't want to fallow God. And God gave him a choice. "Stay in heaven under my power. Or rule in Hell." Satan picked Hell.

Well, seeing as god kind of made up the rules and outcome of the game before anyone started playing....I'm guessing the devil never really had a choice.

Satan, being the vain creation he is probably still thinks he has a chance to win. So I say "yes" he would.
