It says on some websites that mono will always exist in the person body what is that all about

well, considering 95% of the worlds population has EBV-the virus that causes mono, you can get mono, it just depends on your body chemestry. getting it from someone who has been through a bout with mono and it is resolved, no.

chances are you've already had mono, but sometimes mono can also return as it is in just about everyones spinal fluid.

there is no cure for mono. usually one infection will leave a person to never acquire mono, however, there are those who have chronic mono. (it never fully resolves).
