Well, if it is needed to come out from appendicitis, it will eventually burst and the bacteria that is contained in it will get in your abdominal cavity. You would have to have emergency surgery and it would be extremely painful. Because of having infected material throughout your belly, you run the risk of the doctors not being able to rinse out the cavity well enough and bacteria could be left inside. That can lead to another infection in the abdomen and for the original incision to not heal closed all the way. I had a patient that had this...it is pretty nasty! His belly was constantly oozing pus. Hope this answers your question. Take Care.

It will rupture and you will either have emergency surgery, a huge scar, and long recovery . . . OR . . . you'll die.
EDIT: If it was 5 years ago, then why are you even asking? Either you're totally full of shiite or the doctor was wrong.

If you need your appendix out, you need to get it out. My mom "hung onto" hers. She ended up with appendicitis, and when they did the surgery to remove it it exploded. She ended up with gain green....a deadly infection. thank God she made it through. Get it out and you won't have to worry about it.

You need it out? You get it out!
It will burst and you will die. It is not something that you can debate "Do I do it or not?" You just do it.

Probably a torn muscle. When you have appendicitis, you WILL recognize that amount of pain.

If it's infected, it could rupture. Then the infection will spread inside your gut and could cause sepsis and death.
