You found out that the REAL reason we are trying to democratize Iraq is not for the surface reasons like oil or power that people say...but to penetrate the "1040 Window"..which is a longitude/latitude coordinate portion of the world that has been entirely NON-Christian for centuries and this is an attempt to export the GOSPEL into that region? The Muslims are fighting for their spiritual beliefs...and though no one would dare breath it in America...the powers that be are doing it to export Christian beliefs over there in order to bring about the events of Revelation. ***The first days after Iraq was toppled, networks like TBN were asking for donations to send satellites in there so these people could hear the gospel...not watch American Idol. The muslims are fighting our attack on their belief system, not just their women's burcas.
...and Im a DIEHARD Christian by the way. Using the Military to spread religion is what Man DOES.

and that only adds to the "theory". No Bush ISNT that smart...but then God used many FOOLS (and no Im not touching the Lord's annointed by insulting Bush) in the Bible to accomplish His purpose. Its actually better to have a fool do it...then when the final result happens God gets the glory and not the "fool" who was in charge.

Are you kidding me? Have you READ the bible? God told countless people to not just take over cities but kill everything MOVING. Women, children, cattle. He punished leaders for NOT doing it good enough. He destroyed whole armies and nations.... Im a believer in the Peace of the Gospel through Christ, but you have to know, REVELATION is not coming PEACEFULLY my friends....wake up.

Unfortunately, this makes all too much sense. And, yes, I'm a Christian as well. How anyone thinks that God somehow needs man's help to bring His plans to fruition is beyond me. When Jesus does come back, it will be by God's timetable, not ours.

I would say u need to check your facts a little better. The Muslims are fighting because when the boundaries of Iraq were drawn by European powers the mindset was divide and conquer(common for Imperialist nations like Britain and France) and they established a nation made of 3 diverse religious and ethnic mindsets and established the minority shia's as the primary authority. This was done as a means of producing instability which would leave the state easier to control. Hence, the long standing hostility between the three groups. So, sorry but I don't really think its fair to say that the reason for democratization is so we can Christianize all those people. A far better reason for that just might be to try and bring stability to an area sorely lacking it.( without using the previous ruler's method of mass genocide and torture.)

And who attacked the United States on 9/11, Peter Pan and the Lost Boys? THEY attacked us.. no not Iraqis, but Muslims and they make no bones that they want Caliphate (one world united under one religion with one government.. Islam).
We didn't go into Iraq because of Islam, we went into Iraq to take out a dictator and it didn't matter what religion he was, he was cruel, he starved his people even though many countries in the UN were giving him food and money. he had more of his own people put to death than have been killed in the years since we went into Iraq.
Terrorists have been using this whole thing for their own purpose since then and the people of Iraq cannot get a foot hold to gain control of their country because of them.
I am a Christian as well though not necessarily a supporter of missionary work. There are Christians in Iraq (Assyrians) that were there when Saddam was in power.. and networks like TBN have always taken up money for their mission work, this is no different.

IN the name of GOD... the Christian God... so many wars have been waged through the centuries... I personally can not believe that our Creator would have wished for these wars... but it seems so many Christians simply justify it in the name of God...
Your question posed on the what if... it is a scary thought, but I think that Bush uses religion as a weapon as well. Sad to say.
As a Pagan that is discriminated against... and that so many would love to convert... I feel sad for anyone from the Native Americans on up to the Muslims that are suffering or have suffered through history in the name of religious wars and religion.

I don't think that is our agenda, but I do feel the difference in religious beliefs is part of how we can believe we need to change this culture - how we can't understand that people choose the lives they have over there. It's so different, people MUST dislike it, right?
How about we let the Iraqi citizens make that decision. Frankly, I doubt they want our "freedoms". There was certainly some oppression, but that doesn't mean they wanted to go to the other extreme and be just like the US.

>>>The Muslims are fighting for their spiritual beliefs<<<
Is that how you describe the thousands of deaths caused by all the infighting between Muslims of the Shiite variety and those of the Sunni variety?
My brother is in the Marines in Iraq and he tells us, in his emails, that the things the Shiites and Sunnis do to each other over there are despicable.
It's led him to believe that this whole "Islam is a religion of peace" thing is a sham.
I'm not saying I agree with him -- but I can't dispute what he sees every day over there, either.

If that were true, I'd say it is just as terrible a reason to go to war as any other. The idea that you find this conspiracy theory credible, and further that you seem to support it, makes me sad and disappointed. How can you consider yourself a Christian if you believe it is permissible to spread religion through violence?

You give George Bush too much credit. He's not that smart.
You may want to think about seeking out professional help.

Most ludicrous nonsense I've seen on here yet. Don't we have a separate section for conspiracy theories?
