so my ten yr old shih tzu peed little drops of blood yesterday. were gunna take her to the vet tomorrow. but she acts fine and normal. she shows no signs of distress or pain or anything. so today i checked her pee and its normal. this makes no sense to me. she seems fine now. oh she is spaded also. what could it be? she has peed drops of blood like a week or two ago. she has only done this twice and its little droplets.

She could be passing little kidney stones and then the blood shows. Get her into the vets for a complete check up. OK

She may have a kidney stone. Or a UTI that happens alot when they age. I am owned and operated by a Shih Tzu I hope your baby will be ok.

sounds like a urinary tract infection (UTI). my shih tzu has had a few of those when she was younger. just take her to the vet and they will give u meds to give her. nothing serious as long as u take her right away... just very uncomfortable for her.

It could be a number of things. I would suggest trying to get a urine sample to take to teh vets with you tomorrow.
could be as simple as a slight urinary infection to something serious.
make sure you tell teh vet that this is happening and how often you've noticed it. They may not find anything if it's not continuous so keep a log.
Good Luck with your baby

She maybe having her period if the original procedure was not done correctly. Or a Bladder or Kidney issue. She needs tests to figure out what it is.
