An idol worshiper or gay person does not harm me, my family or wider society. A child molester is OBVIOUSLY dangerous. A kid cannot consent to sex as it is not emotionally mature enough to understand the ramifcations of such an action. It is proven to be harmful for the child and is rape.

As for an animal....well EW! There couldn't possibly be any mutual emotional connection involved. An animal cannot possibly understand what the hell is happenening or why even if their body is physically responsive to the act. It is animal cruelty AND rape!

You can make love to a consenting adult human but you will never be able to make love to an animal, or child it will always be one-sided and thus ethically WRONG.

Most of the time those comparisons are made because all of those things are extensively discussed in Leviticus together. You're right a homosexual might not hurt anyone...but when they start trying to adopt children (who will have a higher probability of becoming gay themselves because they live with parents who will glorify the sin) and attempting to change the concept of marriage the way God intended it...then they are infringing on my religion and my right to believe like I choose. The Bible does not condone it. It's not that I hate gays, but I think what God thinks.
