It seems ironic that those who supposedly don't believe in God feel a need to prostelitize their unbelief. Do they just want to be hateful? Are they worried evolution might be exposed as a fraud? What is it? I don't get it, seems sad.

I am seriouslly interested in knowing your reasons, do you really think your keeping people from believing by posting hate all the time. I still havent heard a good explanation as to why you would even want to be on R&S. To agitate? Ok that's fun for a couple of times but if you check profiles many atheist spend countless hours writing hate speech for R&S

I am in no way suggesting atheists should not be allowed on R&S or that any religious group owns this forum. I just would expect to see more atheist in say the "science" section.

I like answering questions. Two of my areas of expertise include religion and math, and answering religion questions is much more fun than doing kids' algebra homework for them.

I think more importantly we should ask why they continue to ask so many questions about a God they do not believe in. Why would you be so concerned about something you proclaimed did not exist? Why would you answer all the religion questions when you in fact do not believe in or practice religion? I think everyone has a right to be here and post their opinion, it just baffles me how they cannot realize that God is very much a part of their life. If you say he isn't a part of your life then why are you here answering this question???

Something is wrong with a God Concept that has taken over 100 million lives from religion/sectarian violence and encourages the followers to ignore it. The ongoing genocide would start to curtail if the followers weren't afraid to speak out against it. How will history judge civilization centuries into the future when they can look back at us and say, "They killed over 100 million people in the name of God and everyone looked the other way, What was wrong with those people? "

Can you give one actual fact toward why evolution is fake in your eyes.... What's to say that the idea of evolution wasn't given to Darwin by god or something? Put it in your extra details, I like to stump people. Also, can you explain the idea of Evolution or are you talking out of your *** because your parents told you to? Have you ever even thought about it and considered it? If it's a sin ask God for forgivness isn't that the point of Christianity? Put the answers in the extra details...

I personally dont. I use to but now Im on 360 more. Well, atheists are in here to debate about this metaphysical being called God. I know of no other place to do so. How could you learn without criticizing something. I take it that you believe criticizing is hateful or something?

You flatter yourself me lad. I do not spend all my time here. I couldn't stand it. Excessive laughter makes anyone sick. I do not come here to get religion; of that I will assure you. There is so much ignorance floating amid the verbiage here that I would never use it as a part of my personal research. Oh yes, there are many atheists who read the bible and go much, much deeper than believe and be saved.

This is a place to express your answer. They're stating their opinons on Religion and Spirituality. I don't believe in Religion, I believe in Spirituality. I think i answered this question already. Why do people ask why atheists spend time on R & S? Why are discussions about the existence and validity of religion not welcome in the R & S forum, when questions like 'christianity v. islam' are perfectly acceptable? and do you realize that you're bashing our beliefs ( or lack thereof ) in the same way that the people you are complaining about bash yours? this is silly. we are entitled to discuss religion and spirituality as much as anyone else. Grow up.
