Instead of killing your body with tons of caffeine, try something outside your body.

What I used to do during the summer for camp was set my alarm five minutes earlier than I normally got up and during those five minutes I'd play a really energetic CD to wake me up. The first CD I started doing this to was the Queer Eye for the Straight Guy Season 1 Soundtrack...it's a leap, but it's actually a really great energy CD. :-P

Usually the reason some people stay so tired in the mornings until early to mid-afternoon is because they're not using their bodies. Try to run a little bit in the mornings and then go home to shower. Something that uses motor skills and a thought process. Especially if you take different running routes every day, because changing a routine often helps to stimulate brain memory, activity, and use. Running will also be good for your health.

If you don't enjoy either music or exercise, my last suggestion would be to take energy shots or energy pills. I saved this for last because you should really only resort to this as a last resort. Energy pills can make your body dependent on that extra shot of adrenaline and if you skip one after you've been using for a while, you might have a slight withdrawal reaction. If used appropriately, however, they could work almost in the same way caffeine would (in fact, I think the main ingredient is caffeine...)

:-D

I really hope this helps you, and good luck!

I'm not sure if I get your exact meaning, but I'l give it a shot :) Have a plan every morning to do something specific by a certain time. For instance, always get to the gym at 7:00am or always get the floor swept by 9 or whatever. I just think make a goal and stick to it. If you're having trouble with that, set the scheduler in your cell phone to go off and bug you about it! Oh, and limit your coffee... you don't need it as much as you may think. Try substituting green tea once in a while, or cut up some fruit the night before and take it with you. Have that and some water... skip the coffee. :-)

if you have a harder time waking up try putting yourself on a 90 min sleep sechuld. If you sleep in intervals of 90 mins you wake up durring the right stage of the REM process and it makes it much easier to wake and you have more energey.

ex. if you go to sleep at 10:30 try waking at 5:30 or 7

do this for a week and see how well it works for you!

Go for an early morning walk! Just get up and go. You'll feel ready to start your day.
