Are you weighing yourself at the same time each day? If you weigh yourself in the morning, the scale will say less than say in the afternoon or evening, because of eating throughout the day. Mine fluctuates the same way, by about the same amount as you, if I check at different times. I don't think it has anything to do with how much you eat, just when you're weighing yourself. I suggest doing it first thing in the morning, before you've eaten anything - it seems to be most accurate.

You are a woman. We retain water. That is why one day you may lose weight, and the next day have gained a few pounds. The best time to weigh yourself is in the morning, nude, before you have eaten or drank anything, and after you have used the bathroom. Try that and see if it makes a difference.

Believe it or not,the best answers to that question are poop and fluid. That's right. On average, the human colon has 20 pounds of waste in it that doesn't get moved on a regular basis. It is usually stuck in folds and crevices in the large intestine and colon. So, depending on when you last had a good bowel movement may affect what you wiegh. There is truth to the joke about feeling 10 pounds lighter after a good bowel movement.

9 times out of 10 weight fluctuations like that are due entirely to water retention. You need to minimize salt intake, drink 2 liters of water a day and eat foods rich in potassium.

It is according to what time of the day you weigh. Is it different scales?
Did you weigh right after you ate something or had things to be digested?
keep all of these things in mind.

Your body could be in 'starvation mode' if you're not eating enough (it holds onto everything). Aim for about 1300-1600 calories a day.
