Unless the hair follicles are damaged it will grow back. The follicles are always creating hair. They don't care what happens to the hair they've already created. You can shave, wax, burn, etc. As long as the device that produces the hair (the follicle) the hair will grow back.

You pretty much have the answer right in your own question. If she is constantly burning the hair off then it's obviously growing back. Otherwise she would have done it once and never have to do it again.

It depends on the severity of the burn that can come with it. My ex burned both of his upper thighs with battery acid, and the hair didn't grow back. His skin will never be the same either.

Burning just the hair, it will come back. Just like shaving, waxing, or products like Nair or Veet. It is true that hair growth slows down after menopause.

It will grow back slower than if you shave or put wax on your arms. But it might actually damage your hair, so you might not want to do that.
Also your grandma is older than you, and old peoples hairs dont grow back that easily.

It will grow back, but as people mature, hair takes longer to grow back, or sometimes they start losing it. Tell Grandma to be careful, geez!

I would imagine the older you get, the longer it takes to grow back. Tell grandma to be careful!

Shes not getting to the core of the hair follicle, so its still growing at the same rate. No difference, tell her to stop being so senile.
