what can you do when you have a relative staying with you,that wont help clean unless you ask?the house we live in is my aunts and uncles not ours.im trying to keep it clean on my own but i work and come home and have to clean.he shows no signs of moving out.need help

tell them how you feel, and that they need to pitch in. if they don't care, then tell them that they need to find a new place to live.

Looks like you have a room mate. Set up a list of chores and divide them up. That way he'll know what he is suppose to do and you won't have to ask. Tell him you aren't his maid and he really needs to do his part to keep the place clean.

tell them look, if u cant contribute to cleaning up after yourself than u got to go. u dont work full time to come home to a dirty house that you just left with it being clean. stand your ground, family or not! assign jobs, like i'll clean the kitchen and u clean the bathrooms, or get a maid to come once a week and tell them to split the cost so theres not dilema! if he cant carry his own show them the door!

Hey,if they keep their space clean, no prob, but make it a daily routine to clean up your space. But if he wont help, I suggest having a nice talk, go get a coffee. Chat

You need to be up front with them, if they can't follow the rules then tell him he must leave
