I've not been to Legoland, but I've heard good reviews. I think Alton Towers is better for older kids as it's more of a thrill seeker's paradise. There are rides at Legoland too. If you are looking for a theme park for younger kids, you can't beat Thorpe Park.

I would go for Legoland every time! But, it was recently voted one of the most expensive days out for families so be prepared for an empty purse by the end of the day! Having said that, Alton Towers isn't exactly cheap!

LEGOLAND, LEGOLAND, LEGOLAND that's aimed purely at that variety of age team, or maybe somewhat larger. Alton Towers on the different hand happens to be the terrific thrill in seek of park in the united kingdom, yet that's approximately all it caters for. Its efforts for the extra youthful babies are somewhat no longer that great. i'm no longer even specific that Legoland could be a clever determination. that's aimed extra at 6-12 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous's. somebody suggested Gulliver's land, that can we a stable place to flow. additionally evaluate your small community entertainment park and Chesington.

Legoland is much, much better for a 4 year old. I took my kids there years ago and when they went on this driving school thing, I nearly wet myself laughing. They were all over the place, going backwards, going round the wrong way, shooting off up this dead end bit.
Another good place with little ones is Gulliver's Land. It's especially designed for little people. There is one in Milton Keynes and I think there are two others but I can't think where they are. Probably tell you on a website.
