My husband and I are going camping this weekend for our anniversary. What I would like for everyone to do is answer with at least one thing that you think we will forget to pack for our weekend in the woods. Your answer needs to be something that we might need while we're camping. Hopefully, this will help me to not forget anything!

Bug Spray
Tent Stakes (always have 2 more than you need, just in case)
A mallet to pound in the stakes (a shoe will work if you forget)
Old newspaper or firestarter sticks
Flashlight and batteries
Air mattress
Rope or string for a clothesline
A deck of cards
Sunblock and aloe vera
Both warm and cool weather clothes.
Folding chairs
An extra blanket
Towels and a washcloth
washbin, soap, and a rag
propane cylinders if you're bringing a cookstove
extra fuel and mantels if you have that kind of lantern
bag for garbage
bag for damp clothes (for the trip home if they don't dry)
duct tape (the fix-all, just in case)
a hatchet for the firewood
an extra pair of shoes (in case the first pair gets wet)
I know there's a million more things that are easy to forget, but I can't remember them all!! I don't think I've ever been camping and not forgotten something...

Don't forget extra blankets or even a tent heater, it's really miserable to be cold in the tent and not able to get warm. That's my worst memory of a camping trip, caught with the temperature dropping at night and just miserably cold.

Uhhmmm well lets seeeee. Books, clothes (ie socks underware bra shirts bottoms bathing suit...unless you two wanna have some nudy time muahahaha lol), food, pan, lighter, tent (hahha I hope you don't forget that! or trailer), drinks, snacks, sleeping bags, brush, stuff to wash with, that is all I can think of hope you don't forget anything and have fun! i know I wouldn't. :P I hate camping.

i love camping, iv been in the scouts since iv been born, motto - always be prepared!
you can never leave without forgetting something, belive me, it just doesnt happen! iv tried!
always take antiseptic cream, you cant keep away from those evil little bugs!
a penknife comes in extreme handiness!
its colder than you think at night, extra blankets always handy.
toilet paper!!! never leave home without it!

1) extra tent stakes (it's easy to break them in rough ground)
2) extra batteries for flashlights
3) citronella candles to keep mosquitos at bay
4) charcoal in case they don't sell wood at the campground or allow wood fires & wood gathering

toilet paper you can forget the shampoo and soap but not the butt wipe!!! or you'll be using leaves (ouch!!!) you can sleep under the stars if you forget the tent.
