we consume everything more rapidly than they 'form.' We'll consume billions of years of oil in 200-300 years. 100 of which have past, and any organic matter, plants/ fleshy stuff can become this carbon complex that is oil.

You're right. I'm trading in my truck for a croc to ride to work. instead of mpg I'll get ypc (yards per chicken or duck if you choose.)
