I will have place to live..and everything? I just dont know how much money i need to prove.. or if i could just say my host is paying for everything? Or does anyone know any easier steps? Thanks!

First of all, you are an American Citizen and he is an Italian citizen, you want to go there to be with him. HE is the one who has to do all the work for you, he is the one sponsoring you, he is the one that must prove that he can support you, he must also prove how long you have been together, he also has to show that you and him fly to each others country to be together.
There is alot more involved than you think,, but it all has to start with him.
I know because I am now married to an american and living here, but he had to do all the paperwork....

Well my first question is why do you need to be a citizen??? You said your boyfriend is living there for right now....I have Dual citizenship for the US and Italy..But i was born into it....so maybe these sites will help....why not just a student visa??????????
