by constantly keeping up with the Joneses and changing their music tastes and fashion sense to match what the heathens are doing, why don't you just take the final plunge?

"Secular" is not bad.. or even a sin. If "secular" were wrong, all Christians should go hide in closet for the rest of their lives.
Perhaps what you see as Christians admitting that secualr society is superior is just Christians realizing that music and clothing aren't going to send you to hell. It's the motives and heart behind them.

We use the current trends in music and, to a point, fashion because it gives an open door to be able to communicate the Gospel to people who would not otherwise be inclined to listen. But then, you already knew that.

the music sounds good- God never said anything about that... He said we need to praise him but he didn't say we couldn't listen to other music ever...
And yeah some christians don't dress as modestly as they should but i think if you went to a mall and took a poll asking teenage girls if they were christians you would find that a good majority(not all) of the more modestly dressed ones were christians
