well first off where do you find that quote in the Bible???
And also not marrying just doesn't seem to be working well in the Catholic church. That is one of the things that Martin Luther did when he left..If it is working is one thing, but when it doesn't work and you command them not to get married..Also where in the New Testament do you find priests??? no where. How do you deal with the command to CALL NO MAN FATHER??

1Tim 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Tim 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
1Cor 7:9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

It is commendable that someone can become and remain celibate to do the work of God or not. The bible does mention that it is better for a man (or woman) to stay by themselves meaning be celibate than to sin ( fornicate) and if they cannot resist the opposite sex that they should get married.
I did breakdown the scripture in my own words.
What is so wrong is that people claim to take a vow of celibacy but still have sex.

By the way why would we think you pull stuff out of your butt?

[His] disciples said to Him, “If that is the case with a man and his wife [1], it is better not to marry.” He answered, “Not all can accept [this] word, but only those to whom it is granted. Some are incapable of marriage because they were born so [2]; some, because they were made so by others; some, because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever can accept this ought to accept it.” [3]

If you are not married, you can dedicate more time to serving the Lord without distractions. But that does not mean that is the prescription for serving.
