What I find most diffucult to observe with my philosophy/religious beliefs is the idea that each religion believes, teaches, that they are the only true religion, worshiping the only 'true' god.
As far as I'm concerned, any person, of any religion or philosophical belief, that observes respect for all humanity is a true believer. Does it not say we are all created in 'His' image, and love thy neighbor as oneself'?
I have no tolerance for dogma. So, hence I walk with my own beliefs as I interpret them. I respect all peoples, of all races, of all nationalities.
So far, I've had a good life, a contented life.
Hope you all find the same path.

My philosophy requires one to earn their way in life through the efforts of their mind and body. I haven't quite managed to have a career or to find enough confidence to work around other people, nor to figure out a way to earn money without ever having to speak to another human being or having anyone look at me. I do have a lot of past trauma and people who take care of me, including the government, I'm sorry to say, but I'm constantly trying to figure some way to make money, and I feel really bad about the whole thing.

I often struggle with letting go of hurt and forgiving right away, But the Lord is teaching me slowly but surely.

The whole pirate regalia thing.
I never seem to have my outfit on me when I find the need to spread the love of his noodly appendage.

I don't have a good space to set up a shrine for my household gods where I can leave them offerings. To me, it seems disrespectful. I only have one statue, and I hate making Him be the go-between.

Turning the other cheek when someone wrongs me, a friend, my country, etc. How many people would be able to turn the other cheek to Osama bin Laden?

I evicted most of my tentants, but that whole "love one another" deal never clicked with me. I'm nice with my family, some coworkers and friends. Other than that...you're fair game.

My biggy is "love your enemies". I have a hard time finding compassion, much less love, for pedophiles, serial killers and terrorists.
