without a goal in life, the people toss to an for and not fullfilling their calling..GOD had hidden in their heart. seek the kingdom of GOD and His gift of righteousness..THEN all things pertaining to life will be addeed to you..health..wealth..ect.

This is actually talking about Pastors. God, through the Holy Spirit, gives Pastors a vision for what he wants the church to do. The Pastors responsibility to lead the flock and the flock is responsible to follow. With out a vision and a mission from God the church perishes.

It means that without revelation from God, visions, the people will perish. Mankind, in order to remain close to God and his counsels, needs to have a constant flow of revelation from God.
A similar passage is Amos 3:7
7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
So does that mean that God has done nothing for 2000 years? God loves us, and I don't think he would do that to us.
I'm proud to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the only Church I know of that claims to be led today by modern prophets, guided by revelation from God, as the Bible teaches.

This has to do with people of vision. Visionaries or people with divine vision. Ordinary people destroy the planet with pollution, eventually making it uninhabitable. Then all humanity will perish. Only if people with vision come forward and change the course of history, raise the level of consciousness on this planet, will it survive.

Vision is creative imagination, the ability to take knowledge and ideas to a higher level of complexity and sophistication. A civilization, a people, or a person without it perishes, even though they, he,or she may still be walking around. To be walking around doesn't mean you are alive and flourishing. It means you are in a state of decay and dying.
