Get a short "wash and wear" haircut. It will be more manageable and easier to dry.

Tying your hair into a high bun helps tremendously. Try staying away from clips and bobby pins because the tend to knot themselves in to your wet hair. When you exit the pool, simply undo the bun and rinse your hair to remove excess chlorine. Comb through your hair with a wide tooth comb and, if needed, a detangling spray and style as desired. I've had long hair my entire life and post-swimming hair is always a pain.

Before you go swimming you should spray your dry hair with a leave in conditioner...brush it and put it up in a ponytail or a bun! I think that would probally help out because chlorine is so damaging to hair!

Put some leave-in conditioner in it, then put it in a ponytail and braid it or wrap it into a bun. The key is not to let the hair fly around all loose. :-)

ok you probably aren't gonna like this advice but here goes..... keep it up in a bun. I know how dorky. After you get out of the pool wash your hair and use a GOOD deep conditioner.

I have really long hair, so I put it in a bun and put a little cream rinse in it. Works like a charm for me.

a french braid is good but it can whip you and other people in the face depending on how long it is......i'd french braid it then pin it in a bun.........for a style, do 10 or 15 braids and then wind it up in a bun.
