I've been wearing this one pair of contacts for about 2 months now taking it out at night about once a week or so. I should have changed them earlier. This morning my eye was hurting and dry so I took out the contact and now there's a little bit of pink or red right in the inner corner of the eye? What could this be?

Firstly... what is the recommended wear time for your contacts? If it is a month then throw them out after a month... these recommended wear times are made for a reason.
If you over wear your contacts substances like protein, calcium, and lipids that are found naturally in your tears can build up on your lenses. These deposits make your contacts less comfortable than when they were new, and can also make your eyes more prone to infection. Lens cleaning products help. But over time buildup still occurs, necessitating lens replacement.
The redness in your eye could be either your eye is very irritated by your contacts or it could be the beginning of an eye infection (conjunctivitis). Best thing to do is take out your contacts and wear your glasses for awhile and call your eyecare professional for an appt. In the mean time be careful, if your eye is infected try not too touch it because you could infect your other eye or even other people.
Hopefully everything goes well for you :)

It might just be irritation since you've been wearing them so long. I'd recommend you take a break and wear glasses for a day or more. However, if your eye starts to hurt or gets worse in any way, call your doctor asap. Contacts are great, but they also can lead to bad eye infections.

Sounds like you could be over wearing your contacts. Be sure you can sleep in the brand you are wearing, and if they are disposable they may only be good for up to a month. You could have conjunctivitis but it sounds like your eyes need to breathe. Take them out of your eyes and call your eye care professional.
