The cost of Invisialign, or any other clear brace system (Clearstep being the other widely available one in the UK) depends entirely upon how much your teeth need to be moved by. The more teeth involved, and the further they need to be moved the more "positioners" (clear braces) you will need, and so the higher the costs. There are also higher costs at the diagnostic stage the more misaligned your teeth are.
That said, you are usually looking at at least £1000, around £2000-3000 would be average, some complex cases will top this.
Ordinary braces also tend to come in around the £1000-2000 mark, again depending on complexity which influences the length of treatment and so the cost.
You won't get a reduction for being a student with Invisialign, unless you sweet talk your dentist or orthodontist! These methods aren't available on the NHS. If you went for conventional braces on the NHS, you might get them free if you meet certain criteria (tax credits, being pregnant or having an HC2 certificate are probably the most likely to apply) However, there is very limited funding for any kind of orthodontics n the NHS, so you you have to have a severe case to qualify at all.

In the UK you can get a full treatment of Invisalign for between £1,500 and £2,500.
It would depend what age student you are, if you're under 16 you can get free dental treatments on the NHS, but you will need to consult your dentist to find out if you're eligible. If you're over 18, then you'll only be able to get dental work done free in extreme cases, otherwise you'll have to pay for it.
