Base on the info you gave me
249.99 * .08 / 100 = $.1999 or 20 cents.
total you have to pay: 249.99 + .2 = $250.19

if you live where I do, you would be paying:
249.99 * 6.25 / 100 = $15.624
total = 249.99 + $15.62 = $265.614.

That's why I'm so poor :(

It should be around $269.98 - Next time just multiply $249.99 x .08 = 8% of 249.99 then add that up.
