I've always wondered which one of these is worse. I've never gone to a tanning booth and never will, I'm Italian and tan very quickly, so I always get a nice tan from just being outside. But I've had girlfriends who have gone to tanning booths and know of other people, and I've always wondered if one was worse than the other.
It seems to me that you might get more vitamin D from the sun, but then you get the UV rays so I don't know.

I mean, if you're in the sun for an hour and in a tanning bed for an hour, which is more damaging to your skin?

a tanning bed. most places only allow you to be in a tanning bed for 20 min in a low level because the uv rays are bad for you. i guess the sun is better. but wearing a low spf. will give you a nice tan and protect you from the rays. =]

A tanning bes is much better for you. The UV rays are monitored unlike the sun. Also a tanning bed is a controlled enviroment meaning the exposure to the UV rays are not as harmful. Sure all sun exposure has its risks however tanning beds are much safer.

Tanning booth. They are both very bad for you. If you use sunscreen out in the sun then its not that bad. You just have to make sure to reapply every half hour and put it on a half hour before you go out into the sun.

i think of it may be worse to get the sunburn pondering it truly is unfavourable the floor worse then a only a tanning sales area might. i might rather advise getting the backside tan so which you do no longer burn in flordia. that's what i did as quickly as I went on holiday final 365 days and that i didnt get burnt in any respect, only extra tan

a tanning booth not only looks fake but its not healthy for your innards. the sun is a more healthy way to tan but always do it in moderation. the more burns you get the higher your chances for skin cancer or other skin problems.

The booth! Oh God the Booth!
I don't know how those things ever made it past initial testing. They are far, far more dangerous than the sun.

i think tanning in a bed is better, because the time is regulated...don`t get me wrong, they`re both bad, but many people underestimate their tolerance to the sun & end up staying outside much longer than they should & end up with a nasty burn!!! i prefer to tan in a bed, which i do daily...
