Ezekial 18:25
25 "Yet you say, 'The way of the Lord is not just.' Hear, O house of Israel: Is my way unjust? Is it not your ways that are unjust?

The ways of the Lord ARE Just! Only He can Be Just! He is God!
Hosea 14:9
Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

To bake a chocolate cake you add a lot of wonderful ingredients. Sugar , Flour, Milk, Eggs, Coco.. You mix them in a bowl and and bake then until the cake is done to perfection. But would the cake be good for anything if one one of the eggs was rotten? All those wonderful fresh ingredients ruined by that one bad one... Our lives are like that we add wonderful qualities like love, kindness, compassion, charity. Then we add anger, hate, lust, lies.. We stir this up and bake it for 70 years or so then offer it to God.. Can't you see unacceptable this is to God. Would you want anything given to you that was so filled with filth? No we can't make ourselves acceptable to God. He did that for us in Jesus Christ. He offers us His righteousness and willingly take our sin and covers it with His own blood.. All He asks is that you except the gift of life that He offers.... Yes God is Just. Jim

Most definitely!! I bet the men in Numbers chapter 16 wish they would have realized how just God really was before they flaunted themselves against Him like Ms Soulful down there. But after the earth opened and swallowed them up it was a bit too late. But God was also merciful in that He gave them many, many chances to believe Him - they would not; as neither will many ppl today. Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, forgave the sinners, and fed the multitudes. I dont read of Him destroying any villages. On the other hand, people choose destruction today, like in the days of old, rather than to humble themselves before Jesus. How can one think this is unjust when it is the choice he/she has made?

HE is our FATHER... HE makes the decisions of what is "right" and "unjust".

Our FATHER never changes... But, "we" do! We want to make the FATHER and SON into "our" way of thinking. We want HIM to be the way "we" want HIM to be, so that what ever we do is "right"....

Its never going to happen that way!

Our FATHER has set down rules through HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST. JESUS put the Word out through HIS Apostles. They recorded what HE wanted to be said, and what they wote is "Gospel" as to the Words of CHRIST.

Because we are fallible, we dont want to think of "sin" as something "each of us" does, through out our lives. We want to continue on our merry ways, thinking there is no GOD, or anyone we have to answer to, when we are "done" with this life.

Well, Athiests had better be right on this, or they will burn in Hell forever! They rejected CHRIST, and HE will reject them! Not a pleasant thing to do, burn in Hell forever....

Is GOD always right? Yes, HE is "always right". HE made the Universe and everything in it, and we are HIS children. We are "bad children" and cant seem to get it right. Even the Isrealites, when they saw the wirlwind going before them in thier voyage through the desert, couldnt be obedient, and HE knew this, so, HE sacraficed HIS SON, for all our Sins.

Now, its up to you and me, to either "follow" JESUS, or, turn away from HIM, and be lost forever.

I wish you well...

Jesse

God loves the sinner but hates injustice.
He is longsuffering and kind, but a day will come when He will judge the world.

First, someone saying they are just doesn't prove they are just. Second, the Bible contains people writing about God and what they believed God was saying, but as each author has their own style, one cannot take something from the Bible and say "God says..."

Is God just what? Is God just using circular reasoning?

"I'm Just because I say so!" is hardly a convincing argument.

I doubt that the villages he wiped out would think he was just.
