Ephesians 5:22-28.
Now read this in context. It also says that men are to love their wives as they love their own bodies. I believe that an abused wife no longer has the obligation to submit to poor treatment.

Ephesians 5:22-33
It says wives submit to your husbands, but it also says husbands love your wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

It isn't just wives submitting, but also every believer submitting to each other.
"Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God." (Ephesians 5:21, KJV)
Then, it makes mention of wives to their husbands, and husbands loving their wives as Christ loves the church.
"Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it..." (Ephesians 5:22-25, KJV)
