There wouldn't be a problem as long as your comfortable with it. You'll have to take your chances on knowing there is a possibility he'll want to go back with his EX. The other thing, is how long ago did their relationship end? If it was with in the last few months you might want to consider just being his friend. Unless your comfortable with it...Good luck and don't let him get your heart and soul....OK

The problem, as I see it, is that if he is too weak or vulnerable right now and is just looking for someone to forget about his ex then he is not appreciating you for you but just because he's trying to forget her. I guess if that doesn't bother you that's ok but you might see problems down the line if that's the only reason he's with you. It's much better if he picked you because he liked you and not just because he was lonely or trying to forget.
