My neighbors burn incense all the time and it bothers my lungs when I breathe it in. I've read that incense includes carcinogens so I'm against incense except in religious situations. What is your opinion of incense? Do you burn it? Why?

There are so many types of incense, but there are a few that do not have any carcinogens.
My friend loves to burn incense, it reminds me of hippies. Most of the scents are not that great to me, but she found one that I actually love. Otherwise, stick to burning the soy candles please! (Regular candles aren't good for you either!)

I do burn it but am very picky regarding the type and scent. There is also such a thing as too much.
However, if someone was affected adversely by it, I would not burn it. There are other alternatives to making your home smell nice.
I am neither pro incense or con. I have a personal preference for it but also value the comfort of those around me.

Any time you have something burning in your house raises the fire danger. As a firefighter I have been to many homes where people lite incense and forgot about it. Some with candles, if you burn them place them next to the door you leave out of so you remember to blow it out.

I hate incense burning. It gives me a headache and it reminds me of my former roommate who smoked weed all the time & she burned incense to cover up the smell. Only it made it worse.

It stinks! Incense always smells like smoke to me. Id much rather use candles, tarts or plug in scent warmers.

yes i burn incense. I use sprays too. incense last longer. I try to watch burning them around others because of allergies. i cant use plug ins. incenses smell nice...........

It makes me flashback to Grateful Dead shows...That's why I am forbidden by law from coming within 200ft of any incense.
