Gay and lesbian people serve publically and productively and demonstrate incredible bravery and receive honors in the militaries of the UK, Canada, Netherlands and many other developed Western countries.

But like with everything else, the USA has to be the one dragging behind the rest of the world. Ironically because we have the largest army we probably also have the largest number of gays and lesbians in it, serving in silence and fearing for their lives if they are ever outed.

Serving when the army HATES you. Now THAT is patriotism!

Sadly, you can't really ask a general question like that and get a good answer.

The reality is a number of communities would exclude people for a number of reasons. Some congregations are more interested in spreading mis-information than spreading the Gospel.

I will never understand why people feel the need to tell lies to "prove" their point!

My community wouldn't exclude anyone. One of my favorite folks at my parish is not just gay but REALLY gay. One of those men who is so beautiful and feminine women are envious. So we all end up in confession over him. Dash it all...

It makes me sad that there are break away groups in my denomination. They feel they need to separate. Make their own private church where straight people are not allowed.

I suppose after all these years of nasty christians bashing them over the head with their so called sins, they feel justified. I would love to mend that rift.

We are all sinners before God.

Therefore, to be a Christian you must trust and obey Christ and His commands.

You must repent of your sins, and when you do sin, it ought to bother you; it ought to compel you to ask Christ for forgiveness. Therefore,

Being gay (a sin before God) is inconsistent with a claim to be Christian.

Being a murderer is inconsistent with a claim of Christianity.

Being and adulterer is inconsistent with a claim of Christianity.

Being a drunk is inconsistent with a claim of Christianity.

And on and on.

The best part is that if you do repent and ask Christ into your life, God will forgive you for all of these transgressions.

I see what you advise, yet, you may desire to submit to in recommendations that for a great variety of the history of the international, there has been slavery, and, you additionally could make a case that there nevertheless is slavery of one form or yet another. the only distinction is that now slaves are referred to as workers. Our financial shape has purely differences as our customary of residing has larger sufficient for the staff to be waiting to artwork for various masters (employers) and seek for a larger deal. one in each and every of those great variety of of those previous rules approximately treating your slaves with comprehend nevertheless be conscious while watching the worker / empolyer relationship. it is likewise important to observe that for a number of the history of the international Slaves weren't brutally mis-dealt with. It replaced into an usually happening state in existence for all of them and there have been no larger oppourtunities available or no coaching available to alter that. no longer all slaves have been Black! Now, i'm no longer condoning Slavery! purely attempting to point out some history. So, once you get to homosexuality, you may desire to get decrease back to the Bible, and is particularly says that marriage is between a guy and a female, that's what I even have faith that it is going to be. there is not any sin for being gay, sin comes from the gay act. this could be a annoying coaching and between the justifications that we could desire to be respctfull to human beings that are born that way. gay human beings could be referred to as to a life-time of Chastity, i comprehend some that are, that's a distinctive existence, although that's what that's. yet they could desire to no longer be descriminated against, they could desire to have equil rights to employment, housing, each and every thing. in the event that they like to stay jointly, and income tax reward, they could desire to be waiting to. that's no longer a "Marriage" as defined via the Bible. wish this helps! Peace!

They would wait to prosecute them until they sinned, and then use them as example of the punishments other homosexuals would receive in trying to fight for a God who is intolerant of them.
